Suppress Update Now / Later after launching PKG

Hello Tempers,

Just got my PS4 to 4.55, installed hen and installed my PKG files. I noticed my console giving a Update Now or Later screen after game selection every time! I always run updateblocker payload and then hen, currently my console is in rest mode and disconnected from my wifi, not to mention auto downloads are turned off and no update file has been downloaded to my knowledge...

My question is this, can we turn off this prompt? Or are we stuck clicking Update Later for the...

just a thought. Does the PSVR or the breakout box utilise any logging?

I have an up to date phat ps4 that I use for psn etc and a slim 4.55.

If I use my psvr on the 4.55 will it log anything and then when I use it on my other one send details back of using it on a jailbroken ps4 and a possible psn account ban?

Hello everyone.I have read a lot in scene about the ps4 jailbreak,releasing exploits,ps4hen etc.so what do you think?would we be able in 3 or 4 years to do exatcly the same thing that we did on a jailbroken ps3 such as downloading games from internet,running homebrews and cfw,backups,free online etc.Tell me your opinions because you know a lot about that stuff.

So I guess this is the golden time of ps4 hacking. What keeps me from swapping my latest fw pro to a 4.55 unit is that I won't be able to play new titles. What do you think, will we get a fully exploited system? Like jtag 360 back then, just update the kernel and you're good to go. Personally I don't have much use for 4.55 and below because I already played all the games I was interested in. Thanks!

We're in March 2018, is there any free resign software for PS4 games?
I know about Save Wizard, but I need it for only one game (I was pretty far in the story, so I have no will to restart it from zero) and it's price isn't really worth for me, especially since I only wish to resign the savefile with my PSN account ant not mod it in any way.
I know it's my fault, I should've started that game with a new account from the beginning instead of using my brother's.

If not, there's a PS4 emulator...

Any way to resign a PS4 game for free yet?

I really don't wanna have to buy another PS3 but I heard that you can buy these I.D's or something off ebay? someone mentioned them here briefly at one point. I'd assume they can somehow unban your system or?..

So now that i JB my ps4, there was a site called orbis something something where you can get the ps4 game updates. Can i just install these for the right version of my game? Or do they have to be modded/signed/whatever first?

I JUST RETITLED AND MADE A NEW THREAD WITH NEWER INFO ON THIS.
IT'S THE REBUILD DATABASE FUNCION ON THE PS4 THAT MOVES THE PKGs IN PURGATORY. SO GO TO THAT THREAD IF YOU WANT TO HELP, THANKS<3<3<3

So I had 850 GB of PKG installed. They all worked flawlessly.
While installing a new PKG, something went wrong and the PS4 shut down on its own:
I started the installation as usual, since it takes some time I left the room, I just found it switched off when I got back.
Which is already weird...

Will changing FW requirements on games work for the long term?

I know in the PS3 scene you could change the required FW to get around games that needed a higher FW but didn't rely on any libraries. I know the PS4 scene currently has that, I'm thinking when GoW comes out, whether it'll be an issue. How long do you think until games start building binaries that actually REQUIRE a FW higher than 4.55?

PS4 HEN 4.55 BLU-RAY/DVD Playback Fail

When trying to play a DVD/Blu-Ray with my PS4 Pro on 4.55 with or without HEN HolyGrail loaded it gives an error: To play Blu-ray Disc or DVD videos, you must enable this PS4's disc playback feature via the Internet. Connect the PS4 to the internet and play the disc again. The dis playback feature will be automatically enabled and you will be able to play videos. NW-31201-7

I'm currently connected to the internet or else I wouldn't be able to load HEN 4.55. Does anyone know how to fix...

Exploit revealed by @vpikhur

He made a presentation at the Recon Brussels hacking conference showing the exploit and a demo video.
Apparently his exploit uses a vulnerability on sys_kldload.
He also relased the presentation slides later in the day here.

So less than one hour 5.50 was released.
Does this means 5.05 jailbreak+kernel acces will be release soon?

Question: I bought TLOU 3 days ago in my ps4 slim, then I bought yesterday a ps4 pro. I was going to install and log in my ps4 slim account with the pro (since I deleted the games on slim)
Would be possible to log-in and download the game from PS Store without updating? :(

hi ive seen a website that does pkg games and they have been split to 4.gb chunks. will this work if i install the 1 game in chunks this way? also will i have to fakesign the pkg. thanks in advance :)

I have downloaded Uncharted: The Lost Legacy game from a website but I an unable to play the game as it is requires me to update my ps4 to a higher firmware version. Is there anyway to make the game work on 4.55?
