PS$ on 4.05 should i update to 4.55

So my ps4 is currently on 4.05 and i am wondering if its worth updating to 4.55.

Is the exploit available as stable as 4.05 and do i just update with usb the usual way?

Iv read some guides and posts but seem to get conflicting answers to my questions so any help would be great.
