I know in the PS3 scene you could change the required FW to get around games that needed a higher FW but didn't rely on any libraries. I know the PS4 scene currently has that, I'm thinking when GoW comes out, whether it'll be an issue. How long do you think until games start building binaries that actually REQUIRE a FW higher than 4.55?
