Grabbed a PS4 with 6.72 installed, should I update it to 7.55?

I've grabbed a 6.72 PS4 slim, I'm considering jailbreaking it (already have PS4/PS4 Pro and a PS5)

I was not interrested in the PS4 scene before (I only mod "done" systems) I'm not really familiar with all this. (for PS4)

I've seen that hacks are available for more recent firmwares so I was wondering, should I update this system to the latest supported firmware or leave it on 6.72?
