Ps4 4.55 - HEN - Can I download normal games and play Online?

Got a Playstation 4 firmware 4.55 - I got the *game mode* activated..

I got Bloodborne, but what If I want to play Online?
Can I still buy the normal game and play online? even that User Guide gives a funny weblink?
